晴れた日に使う傘 Wagasa for a sunny day
お手元に和傘が届いたら、まずは初めに締め輪を外します。
The first thing to do when you receive your Wagasa is to remove the tightening clasp.
まずは優しく開きます。片手で傘の柄を持ち手首をまわすと、傘は自然に開きます。
Then open the umbrella gently.
Hold the handle of the umbrella with one hand and turn your wrist to open it automatically.
もう片方の手で「ろくろ」を持ち、ゆっくりと開いてください。和紙を破いてしまうので、開閉時は周りにぶつかるものがないか、確認してください。
Hold the “rokuro” (the clasp on top of Hajiki) with your other hand and open it slowly.
Make sure there is nothing around you to bump into Wagasa when opening and closing it, as this will tear the Washi paper.
日傘は防水加工をしていないので水に濡らさないで下さい。もし濡れてしまったら、あまり触らず開いて乾かして下さい。
The Higasa is not waterproof, so do not get it wet. If it gets wet, open it and let it dry without touching it too much.
保管について How to store
風通しの良い、日陰に吊るして、または立て掛けて保管ください。
Store it hanging or standing in a well-ventilated and shady place. Both parasols and rain umbrellas are made of natural materials. In rare cases, insects may eat the washi so it is recommended to store them with insect repellent.
